Patrick graduated from the University of New South Wales, Australia, in 2000 and exhibited in group and solo shows in Sydney with Groundfloor Gallery from 2004 to 2007. In 2007 he moved to the UK and in 2008 settled in Brighton, attracted by its vibrant arts scene. He made work from his home studio in the Hanover area of Brighton, organising exhibitions in his house as part of the Artist Open House Festival. In 2009 he took part in Antony Gormley’s 4th plinth project, One and other in Trafalgar Square, London. He became a member of APEC in February, 2012 and continues to exhibit in both the UK and Australia.
Patrick was a founding member of compARTment, a social enterprise whose aims were to transform empty spaces for creative and community regenerative use in Brighton & Hove. They ran a successful exhibition and event space in the old Open Market on London Rd from 2010 to its demolitionion 2012.
Patrick also runs a professional picture hanging business throughout the South East, installing artwork for clients in private homes, businesses and galleries.
